Bardstown Independent School is seeking a Head Coach Boys Volleyball for Bardstown High School in Bardstown, KY. The role reports to the athletic director and principal.

The position requires coaching certifications, compliance with KHSAA rules, and completion of safety trainings. Starting date is immediate; part-time duties include planning practices, promoting school sports, and ensuring student eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification
• Effective communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Promotes all sports in the school and community
• Plans the athletic program
• Organizes and supervises all practices and meetings
• Teaches fundamental skills, team play, strategy, and rules of the game
• Teaches and models good sportsmanship
• Ensures students meet academic eligibility and safety requirements (physicals, consent, insurance)
• Keeps informed of KHSAA/BCS rules for participation
• Completes safety trainings (CPR, AED, NFHS courses) on time
• Completes trainings and other compliance tasks as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned by Principal and/or Athletic Director
