Job summary

Associated Recreation Council is seeking an Experienced Boys (Varsity) Head Coach to lead our youth rowing program at the Mt. Baker Rowing & Sailing Center in Seattle, WA. This part-time role involves planning practices, mentoring athletes aged 13-18, and ensuring safety and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate has substantial rowing experience and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities include conducting regattas and supporting athletes' physical and technical development. Required certifications include USRowing Level 2 and a valid Washington State Driver’s license. Enjoy benefits such as Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST).

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• At least 5 years of experience in competitive rowing.
• Must be able to pass a 10 minute float test prior to date of hire.

• Ensure athlete safety and adherence to all policies.

Skills
