POSITION:

(1) Boys Varsity Diving Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma

Proven ability to work with students in a non-academic setting

Successful head coaching experience in the sport preferred

Recognize the importance of making a commitment to work with the rest of the coaching staff for this sport and the Athletic Director

Demonstrate the ability to work with students, parents, community members, fellow coaches, and game officials on a positive and professional basis

Proven positive role model regarding dress, appropriate use of language, appropriate physical contact, and appropriate mental/psychological approach to working with students, parents, community members, and game officials

Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or the Building Principal

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

DUTIES:

Supervise all practice sessions

Provide instruction in proper techniques and sport rules

Attend all required State and League meetings (as necessary)

Dispense and care for uniforms and equipment as well as accepting the responsibility for accounting for all such items through an end of season inventory

Handle other additional responsibilities associated with the sport as directed by the Athletic Director and/or School Principal

RESPONSIBLE TO:

High School Principal and Athletic Director

SALARY:

According to Extra-Compensatory Salary Schedule B per agreement with LPEA
