Job summary

Adams County School District 14 is seeking an Athletic Head Coach (Boys Soccer) at Summit Heights Jr. High to lead and develop student-athletes. The role involves coaching fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork while ensuring safety and compliance with district and league rules.

The position reports to the Athletic Director, with supervision of assistant coaches and other staff. The incumbent will participate in season planning, clinics, and ongoing development to promote athletic excellence

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications required.
Minimum one year experience as an assistant coach.
Knowledge of proper fitness and conditioning techniques for athletes.
Strong knowledge of the sport, preferably with collegiate or professional playing experience.

Responsibilities

Coach players in fundamentals and techniques, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Adhere to Colorado High School Activities Association, NFHS rules, and district policies.
Supervise athletes and adjunct personnel; communicate needs to head coach.
Maintain fair and consistent decisions and judgments for participants.
Attend clinics and conferences to stay updated on sport trends.
