Watertown High School in Watertown, Massachusetts is seeking a Boys Hockey Assistant Coach (Winter 26-27) to support the athletic program for student-athletes. The role involves collaboration with the coaching staff, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship within school guidelines.

The position is a stipend role, reports to the Athletic Director, and requires CPR certification along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with students, staff and community.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head Coach in coordinating and supervising the athletic program and team.
• Support the development and implementation of training and game programs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes.
• Collaborate with staff to align with school guidelines and MIAA standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and communicate with stakeholders.
• Engage booster clubs and community organizations to strengthen support.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.
