General Description:

The Assistant Coach will help promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes. This position requires collaboration with coaching staff, effective communication with the school district and community, and a commitment to fostering an educational and competitive sports experience.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Head Coach in coordinating and supervising the athletic program and team.
• Support the development and implementation of training and game programs to enhance athlete performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes, encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to ensure the athletic program is executed effectively and in alignment with school guidelines.
• Ensure all athletic activities comply with MIAA guidelines and standards.
• Communicate effectively with school district members, the community, and booster clubs.
• Work closely with booster clubs and community organizations to strengthen program support.
• Adapt to change and handle additional tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Support the value of education and the school district's overall mission.
