Boyd Corp in Laconia, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to operate hand presses, attach tabs/pins/pems, and cross-train to anodize racking, assembly or packing as needed.

You will perform first piece inspection, wanding, record keeping, and maintain safety and cleanliness; must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and communicate with team leaders to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read/use Dial Calipers.
• Good manual dexterity including hand/eye coordination.
• Able to sit for long durations at a workstation.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Laconia facility and meet ITAR requirements.

Job Description

Primary Function:

Operate manual hand presses to attach tabs, pins and pems to stampings and/or Board Level products. This position will need the ability to cross train to Anodize Racking, Assembly or Packing as workflow needs occur.

Essential Functions:

• Operate all hand presses.
• Perform first piece inspection on all assigned work to ensure the correct parts, hardware and tooling are used to assure quality is maintained.
• Perform accurate wanding and record keeping tasks to assure credibility, lot integrity, etc.
• Ability to produce at or exceed quota.
• Maintain clear precise communications with your Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Comply to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean safe work environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs.
• Ability to assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

• Works on assignments that are routine/semi routine in nature; limited judgement is required.
• Supervisory Responsibility: Receives detailed instructions on all assignments.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read/use Dial Calipers.
• Good manual dexterity including good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to sit for long durations at a workstation.
