Job summary

Boyd Corp in Woburn is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of production equipment and plant facilities. You will diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures and perform preventive maintenance per schedule.

Strong background in CNC equipment and presses is preferred; experience with drawing interpretation, manuals, and vendor support will help you execute upgrades and special projects on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• ITAR restrictions require U.S. Persons; no sponsorship offered.
• Residence within 50 miles of the Woburn facility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures.
• Repair CNC equipment and hydraulic/mechanical presses.
• Follow maintenance schedules, drawings, diagrams, specifications, prints.

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking an {Job Title} in our {Site Name} location.

Primary Function:

SUMMARY:

Functions with minimal supervision and performs a variety of complex tasks involving assembly, installation, maintenance, adjustment and repair of production equipment and/or plant facilities utilizing a broad knowledge of several of the maintenance trades such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical.

Strong background and experience in troubleshooting and repair of factory mechanical equipment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment and mechanical and hydraulic presses is needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

1. Will utilize expert level trouble shooting skills with hands on approach to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical failures.
2. Will perform trouble shooting and repair of CNC equipment and presses by working with the machine manuals and manufactures support.

• 3. Will work from maintenance schedules, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, prints and written and verbal instructions.
• 4. Locates and diagnoses complex equipment failure and ensures timely, corrective actions.
• 5. Execute the preventive maintenance plan according to the PM schedule.
• 6. Participate on special projects work on equipment upgrade and installations.
• 7. Makes routine, periodic or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment.
• 8. Performs all functions of Maintenance Mechanic B.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience
