Lakeside Book Company in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Boxmaker Material Handler 2 to support our boxmaking operations. No experience is required; we provide full training and offer advancement opportunities.

Starting rate is $17.60 per hour. Hours are 12-hour Daylight shifts 6am–6pm, Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, Wednesday-Thursday. Location: 2347 Kratzer Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Good judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the boxmaker to target speeds while maintaining quality.
• Assist in completing the Make-ready using appropriate materials.
• Assist in maintaining the LDC board.
• Pile down, strap and complete jobs in the MLU.
• Help with housekeeping.

Boxmaker Material Handler 2 (Finance)

We are looking for Boxmaker Material Handler 2 to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!

Starting Rate: $17.60
