Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Boxmaker Material Handler 2 in Harrisonburg, VA. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. You will help move finished products from the line and support ongoing production on a 12-hour daylight shift.

Starting at $17.60 per hour, this role offers growth through cross-training and advancement opportunities within a large U.S. book production operation.

• Assist in completing the Make-ready using appropriate materials.
• Assist in maintaining the LDC board.
• Pile down, strap and complete jobs in the MLU.
• Help with housekeeping.

Job description

We are looking for Boxmaker Material Handler 2 to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! Starting Rate: $17.60

Hours: 12-hour Daylight shift 6am-6pm, Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, Wednesday-Thursday

Location: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22801

As a Boxmaker Material Handler, you will:

• Assist in running the boxmaker to targeted speeds while maintaining quality.
