Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club in Plano is seeking a Boxing Instructor to lead scheduled boxing classes and deliver the Equinox Experience to our members. Responsibilities include adjusting intensity, monitoring effort, and ensuring on-time starts and finishes while minimizing substitutions.

The ideal candidate will hold current boxing instruction certification, have teaching experience, CPR/AED certification, and a solid understanding of anatomy and kinesiology, with a friendly, energetic, and outgoing

Qualifications

• Current certification in boxing instruction.
• Experience teaching group fitness.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy and kinesiology.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience in each class.
• Adjust class intensity for participants as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout the class.
• Ensure classes start and end on time.
• Coordinate with Group Fitness Manager on feedback, equipment, scheduling, and subbing.
