Job summary

Trident Seafoods, a leading North American seafood company, is hiring a Box Pack/Boxer in Minnesota. The role involves assembling and packing product into boxes, labeling, and ensuring quality at each step in a fast-paced, cold environment.

You will monitor temperatures, sample products, and prepare boxes for palletization. Ideal candidates have 3–6 months of food manufacturing experience, ability to count in multiples, and the capacity to follow strict procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production processes, food safety and quality controls typically required in a food manufacturing environment.
• Skills: ability to count by multiples 2s and 3s.
• Abilities: compare written information from work order to what is printed on the case; interpret simple written instructions and follow procedures; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Folds boxes per specifications.
• Attaches identification labels to boxes; verifies case print is accurate and legible.
• Places specified number of packages into containers; passes boxes through tape machine; verifies packaging for labeling and damage.
• Monitors and records temperatures of product; draws random samples per QA specs.
• Loads pallets with filled boxes and cleans equipment according to company standards.
