Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Frederick, MD to transport orders to customers safely and on schedule while delivering friendly customer service. The role may include Yard assistance to meet weekly hours, promoting growth within a family-owned regional company.

Responsibilities include using a company vehicle, adhering to schedules, and maintaining professional customer interactions. A team player with a reliable driving record will fit well in this role.

Formación

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials or large items
• Clean driving record; valid license where required
• Familiarity with delivery equipment is preferred
• Strong teamwork and customer-service mindset

Responsabilidades

• Transport orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using the company vehicle
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met while delivering friendly, professional service
• Assist in the Yard when deliveries slow to meet weekly hours
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with customers as needed

Description

As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
