Qualifications

• Delivery experience with building materials or large items preferred.
• Must have acceptable driving record; some states may require license.
• Familiarity with delivery equipment and loading/unloading procedures preferred.
• Must be a team player with a friendly, customer-service mindset.
• Ability to provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to customers safely and on schedule using company vehicles.
• Maintain safe driving practices and meet daily delivery targets.
• Assist in yard duties when delivery workload slows to hit weekly hours.

Description

As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, cabinets, doors, windows, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
