Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Driver in Walton, KY. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, collect and deliver medical waste containers, and provide outstanding service to healthcare customers daily.

The role requires a Class B license, a valid DOT medical card, and at least 3 years of experience driving a 26-foot box truck. You will comply with DOT regulations and ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Class B license with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operating a 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs up to 200lbs.
