Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license with HazMat endorsement and 3+ years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck to serve healthcare customers around Walton, KY. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers and deliver excellent service daily.

Responsibilities include safely operating a 26 ft box truck, pre- and post-trip evaluations, DOT compliance, on-time deliveries, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Class B license with HazMat endorsement required.
• DOT compliance knowledge and logging hours.
• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Touch freight experience preferred.
• Customer service focused with safetyMindset.

Responsibilities

• Operating a 26 ft box truck safely
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate changes
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and inspections
• Push/pull carts up to 200 lbs
• Class B license with clean record and valid DOT medical card
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a 26 ft box truck
• Pass Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse (7-year review)
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• DOT compliance and logging hours
• Can-do attitude with strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• Touch freight experience
