Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. in Ohio is seeking a Delivery Driver to perform local routes with home daily. You will deliver lubricant bulk products to customer sites, maintain logs, and follow safety policies.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement, clean driving record, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. DOT drug test required; random testing applies. Excellent customer service is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A or Class B CDL for the position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid tanker endorsement as required for the position.
• Must have a driving record that meets company standards and insurance eligibility.
• Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries of Lubricant bulk products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company policies.
• Maintaining truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicating customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up.
• Occasional out-of-town travel and completion of route as assigned.
• Performing other related duties in warehouse and driving as required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Making deliveries of Lubricant bulk products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicating customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up.
• Preforming duties until route is complete with occasional out of town travel.
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities in warehouse and driving as required, assigned or requested.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Quarterly safety bonuses (eligible after 120 days of employment).
• Monthly performance bonus based on gallons delivered (eligible after 120 days of employment).

Requirements

• Must successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT)-required pre-employment drug test in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
• Must meet and maintain all applicable DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical qualification requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Will be subject to DOT/FMCSA-required random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
• Must demonstrate the ability to provide professional, courteous, and effective customer service while interacting with customers, coworkers, and the public.
