Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a CDL driver to deliver lubricant bulk products locally in Ohio. You will operate safely, log deliveries, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate customer needs to relevant departments.

Occasional out-of-town travel may occur, with additional warehouse and driving duties as required. The role offers overtime opportunities, quarterly safety bonuses after 120 days, and a monthly bonus tied to gallons delivered, along with a benefits package

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL and tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record and DOT/FMCSA medical qualification.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries of Lubricant bulk products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company policies.
• Maintaining truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.

Primary Responsibilities

• Making deliveries of Lubricant bulk products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all company operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicating customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up.
• Preforming duties until route is complete with occasional out of town travel.
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities in warehouse and driving as required, assigned or requested.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay range: $22 to $27 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location).
• Overtime opportunities available in accordance with applicable laws.
• Quarterly safety bonuses (eligible after 120 days of employment).
• Monthly performance bonus based on gallons delivered (eligible after 120 days of employment).

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required for the position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid tanker endorsement as required for the position.
• Must have a driving record that meets the Company's driver qualification standards and applicable insurance eligibility requirements.
• Must successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT)-required pre-employment drug test in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
• Must meet and maintain all applicable DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical qualification requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Will be subject to DOT/FMCSA-required random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
• Must demonstrate the ability to provide professional, courteous, and effective customer service while interacting with customers, coworkers, and the public.
