Job summary

The Granite Group is seeking a customer-facing Delivery Driver in Waterville, ME. You will deliver to Granite Group customers and job sites, build relationships with the community, and act as a positive liaison between TGG and our customers.

Hours are 6:30 to 3:30, aligning with school schedules. As a full-time team member, you must have delivery experience, safely operate heavy equipment for boilers and water heaters, lift up to 75 lbs, hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record,

• Experience as a delivery driver.
• Experience with heavy equipment safely (boilers, water heaters, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• DOT medical card, drug and background screening required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure items for delivery.
• Deliver to Granite Group customers and job sites with courteous, timely service.
• Develop relationships with customers and act as a positive liaison between TGG and customers.
• Maintain safe operations and comply with company policies and state driving rules.

Key Duties and Qualifications:

• Experience as a delivery driver
• Experience with heavy equipment safely (boilers, water heaters, etc.)
• Ability to swiftly and carefully lift 75lbs
• 21 years of age
• DOT medical card physical, drug and background screen are mandatory
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items
• Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
