Job summary

Distribution International is hiring a 26' Box Truck Driver to deliver insulation and building materials and assist in the warehouse. You will drive locally in Virginia, DC, and Maryland and be the face of the company to customers.

You must have a valid license, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and a DMV record that meets company standards. This safety-sensitive role requires occasional warehouse duties and physical effort.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (10,001-26,000 lb vehicle).
• Acceptable DMV record.
• Willingness to assist in warehouse operations.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Prolonged standing and active movement throughout the day.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work both inside a truck cab and outdoors.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26' Box Truck to job sites in Virginia, DC, Maryland.
• Deliver and unload materials at customer sites and assist in the warehouse (approx. 35% of the time).

26' Box Truck Driver

Looking for a steady, local driving job where you're home every night? Distribution International is hiring for a Commercial Box Truck Driver to deliver insulation and building materials and assist in the warehouse.

What You'll Do

• Drive a 26' Box Truck around Virginia, DC, Maryland to various job sites
• Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites
• Provide excellent customer service - our drivers are the face of our company
• Assist in the warehouse about 35% of the time
• Schedule Start times between 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM
• Local DMV routes only - no over-the-road travel

Travel Requirements

65% percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed in the warehouse.

** Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour ** + Overtime Available Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range.
