Job summary

QXO currently seeks a CDL Driver to deliver and unload products to customer locations in the Hammond area. You will operate a tractor-trailer locally and maintain safety while handling loading activities. Strong customer service and basic English literacy are essential.

Willingness to assist in warehouse tasks and use navigation software will be required, with occasional overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Class A or Class B driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable DMV Record.
• Able to meet state/federal transport and medical requirements for a 3-axle vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations.
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service as a company ambassador.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed.
• Read, write and understand English; use navigation software.

Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
