Job summary

Fenix Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver in Rahway, NJ to join our team. You will handle home-daily delivery routes with a 20-foot box truck, loading and unloading parts, and interacting with customers.

This day-shift role offers Monday to Friday work with no weekends, safety-focused operations, and opportunities for professional development within a growing nationwide parts recycler.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional driving experience with 20-foot box trucks.
• Safe driving record: ≤1 accident and ≤2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform high-volume deliveries.
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, and smartphone apps.
• Valid driver's license with no major restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Route management and daily scheduling based on customer needs.
• Load and unload automotive parts safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver parts and collect payments, provide receipts.
• Complete and submit paperwork at end of route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Route Management: Handle home-daily delivery routes, planning daily schedules based on customer needs.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload automotive parts, adhering to all safety protocols while preventing freight damage.
• Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to your assigned box truck to ensure optimal safety and vehicle performance.
• Customer Interaction: You are the face of the company. Deliver parts accurately and collect payments, presenting bills and receipts professionally while assisting customers with any need that may arise.
• Documentation: Complete and submit all required paperwork neatly and accurately at the end of your route.

Requirements:

• Driving Experience: 1+ years in a professional driving role while operating 20-foot box trucks or similar.
• Safety: Must have a safe driving record with no more than 1 accident, and no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years on your motor vehicle record.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 75 lbs. throughout the day and manage high volume physical activity during deliveries as we offload and load automotive parts at each customer’s location.
• Skills: Ability to identify various automotive parts and be proficient with the use of PCs, tablets, and smartphone mobile apps.
• Certifications: A valid driver’s license with no major restrictions.
