Meyer Logistics Inc. is seeking a Box Truck Delivery Driver (non CDL) in Punta Gorda, FL to drive 26-28 ft box trucks on daily routes, load/unload, and complete required DOT paperwork.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with workload-based end times and a $20.00/hour wage plus a quarterly Driver Safety Bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, paid vacation/holidays/personal days, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or CMV over 10,001 lbs.
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement.
• Willing to pass drug screens and background checks.
• Maintain a valid DOT medical examiner card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; insurable at standard rate.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries and meet schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries; maneuver trucks into positions.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations promptly.
• Complete paperwork for company and DOT compliance.
• Coordinate with Fleet Management on maintenance needs.
