Meyer Logistics Inc. is hiring a Box Truck Driver (non CDL) in Daleville, AL. You will drive 26-28 ft box trucks on route deliveries, load/unload cargo, and ensure DOT compliance while maintaining accurate paperwork.

The schedule runs Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with start/end times varying by workload. The base pay is $18.50 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities in a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience driving 26–28 ft box trucks or CMV over 10,001 lbs.
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks, and maintain a DOT medical card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; remain insurable at standard insurance market rate.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers and meet delivery schedules.
• Maneuver trucks into position to load and unload delivery trucks.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.

Schedule For Box Truck Driver (non CDL)

• $18.50 hour (base pay)
• Monday, Thursday, Friday
• 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Start / End Time Varies on Most Days Due to Workload / Coverage)

Box Truck Driver duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers and meet delivery schedules.
• Maneuver trucks into position in order to load and unload delivery trucks.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.
• Complete paperwork necessary for company and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance issues and preventative maintenance of delivery trucks.

Requirements For Box Truck Driver (non CDL)

• 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs. (Required)
• Valid truck driver license and relative endorsement for the specific state. (Required)
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks and maintain a valid DOT medical examiners card. (Required)
• No recent moving or driving violations, remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
• Operate / Drive a forklift.
