Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Class B CDL driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Taylor, MI area. You will collect medical waste containers, deliver them with excellent customer service, and maintain a high level of safety and DOT compliance.

Expect a full-time schedule (approximately 40 hours/week) with potential overtime and a competitive benefits package. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safe handling of medical waste.

Formación

• CDL B license required and valid.
• Delivery experience with manual handling helpful.
• Willing to work full time ~40 hours per week.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse review.
• Safety-first approach and strong customer focus.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and inspections.
• Road check level 1–3 confident.
• Proven longevity in past employment; on-time deliveries.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Class B driver operate a truck across the Taylor, MI area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well-maintained. What will your job involve?

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading
• Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction
• delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting Consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of 50-75 lbs
• Pushing/or pulling of 100-250 lbs, as applicable to the role

What are we looking for?

• CDL B License Required
• Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices
