Job summary

Legends Global at Mohegan Arena is seeking a friendly part-time Box Office Ticket Seller to handle day-to-day ticketing operations during events. Hours vary by event schedule, including evenings, nights and weekends.

You’ll sell will-call tickets, process cash and card transactions, and answer guest questions while maintaining a professional appearance and customer service focus. Prior Ticketmaster or box office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or currently enrolled in high school
• Pass a HireRight Background Check in compliance with company policy
• Basic knowledge of computer and point of sale technology
• Previous Ticketmaster or venue box office experience preferred
• Outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude for strong guest relations
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to follow directions, but work independently when needed
• Work well with others in a team environment in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
• Able to work most event hours which include nights and most weekends as assigned shifts dictate
• Reliable transportation, punctual arrival, and consistent availability
• Must practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete any company-wide safety training and any additional job specific training

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close ticket window as required
• Sell and distribute will call tickets for Mohegan Arena events using Ticketmaster software
• Reconcile daily sales reports and cash deposits
• Answer customers’ questions promptly, courteously, and accurately both over the phone and at the ticket window
• Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance, and organized work space
• Maintain an energetic, professional, and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public
• Perform related clerical work and other special assignments as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
