Job summary

A leading ticketing company in Boston is looking for a Ticket Buyer who will purchase tickets at venue box offices. This independent contractor role offers commissions for each ticket bought, with flexible hours, generally requiring availability for 1-4 hours per day, two days a week. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and able to communicate with the company through SMS. Previous experience in gig economy jobs like rideshare or delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make extra income buying tickets at venue box offices.
• Earn commissions on every ticket you buy.
• Receive ticket purchase orders through an app.
• Ticket buyers receive ticket purchase orders through an app on their smartphone, then travel to venues to purchase tickets using a company provided credit card
• After purchasing tickets, the detail is entered in the app, tickets are then shipped to us
• Commissions are paid weekly through direct deposit, after tickets are received

Responsibilities

• Make extra income buying tickets at venue boxoffices
• Earn commissions on every ticket you buy
• Noexperience necessary, but if you have worked as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier or done other gig type jobs, this may be a good fit for you
• Ticketbuyers receive ticket purchase orders thru an app on theirsmartphone, then travel to venues to purchase tickets using acompany provided credit card
• After purchasing tickets, the detail is entered in the app, ticketsare then shipped to us
• Commissionsare paid weekly thru direct deposit, after tickets arereceived

Here’s what you need to get started:

• Beat least 18 years old
• Beeligible to work in the US
• Bephysically able to drive, ride or walk to venues to buytickets
• Havea smartphone to interface with company to view order requestsand enter detailed purchase information
• Beable to work approx 2 days per week, 1 - 4 hours per day -generally between 10:00am - 9:00pm (venue box office hoursvary greatly)
• Beable to communicate with REPS through SMS
• Beaccurate, detail-oriented and result-driven
