Job summary

Meyer Distributing is hiring a Box Machine Operator for our Jasper, IN location. The role involves sorting, preparing, and packaging products with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour and the schedule is Monday–Friday 10:00 am–6:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior warehouse or packaging experience. Candidates should be comfortable using a computer and reading pick tickets.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse or packaging experience preferred.
• Ability to read pick tickets and identify letters and numbers.
• Must be comfortable with a computer to complete basic functions.

Responsibilities

• Sort and package products with safety and quality in mind.
• Read pick tickets and identify products by labels.
• Scan products with handheld scanners.
• Place labels on packed products and use banding equipment.
• Prepare products for shipping to UPS/FedEx/LTL.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times.
• Assist leads during corrugate changes.
