Job summary

Meyer Distributing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Operator in Jasper, IN. You will load and unload trucks, stock inventory, and prepare orders for shipping while following safety and DOT requirements.

The role requires 1 year of box truck or CMV experience, preference for manual transmission, and forklift/manlift certification within 3 months. Compensations include benefits and a stable 5-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience operating 26–28 ft box trucks or other CMV > 10,001 lbs.
• Preference for manual/stick shift driving
• Valid truck IN driver’s license and 2 For Hire endorsement (reimbursement available)
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks; maintain DOT Medical Certificate
• Clean driving record with no recent moving violations; insurable
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; repetitive bending and lifting
• Previous warehouse experience and must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Drive manual box trucks between Meyer locations.
• Unload trucks and restock warehouse areas.
• Use scanners to route and stock items accurately.
• Stock racks and wrap pallets for shipping.
• Operate forklift and manlift safely; maintain clean work area.
• Assist in inventory counting and reconciliation.
• Load trucks and secure products for transport.
• Perform other duties as assigned
