Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a Box Machine Operator A2 for Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6p-6a, on-site in a refrigerated packaging environment. You will run box machines, monitor output, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining a clean, organized area.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, pallet jack certification, and the ability to work independently within a high-paced plant. Spanish is a plus; confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed for the pallet jack.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• High-performance team player in a dynamic environment.
• Self-starter willing to work flexible hours.
• Proficient in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the shift supervisor about machine, product or department issues.
• Monitor machine performance and fix minor problems.
• Follow all safety, startup and shutdown procedures.
• Track scrap, blanks, and boxes produced.
• Operate to minimize shutdowns and maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to SQF regulations and safety standards.
• Run baler and hand-assemble all boxes as required.
• Meet daily production goals and know inventory locations.
