Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a Lumper for a rotational shift in our refrigerated warehouse. The role involves moving product with a pallet jack, supporting shipping and inventory, and adhering to safety and GMP procedures to ensure pallets meet Mastronardi standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass drug test, background check and pre-employment skills testing.
• Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
• Must be a high-performance team player and willing to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English and ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all emergency exit doors and fire extinguishers are free and clear of debris and/or obstructions.
• This position requires flexibility to work in various assigned work areas.
• Reports to and assist the shipping and inventory departments as needed for various duties.
• Report to and assist management with any issues that may be observed on the dock such as GMP, food safety, or unsafe product staging concerns.
• Prompt stacking / lumping / rebuilding of product pallets / boxes.
• Identify and elevate any pallets that visibly do not meet Mastronardi Specifications (crushed, leaning, damaged, or any visible product that appears to not meet Food Safety standards).
• Ensure work areas are maintained and left clean and clear of all debris and strayed product.
• Assist with dumping product in or outside the facility in company approved containers daily.
• Remove / apply and record product inventory tags as required.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
