Job summary

Jabil is seeking an assembler to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes to ensure on-time shipments of quality products. The role emphasizes working efficiently according to workmanship standards and following detailed verbal or written instructions.

You will verify incoming material, store using FIFO, and operate with required tooling and torque drivers. The position requires adherence to safety and 5S in the workspace and ongoing certification in relevant assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate quantity of parts to be prepared at any time.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and customers.
• Ability to interpret simple data, draw conclusions and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions with visual aids.
• Verify incoming material and store using FIFO inventory system.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system with tooling and torque drivers.
• Scan components from flow racks or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certifications in relevant assembly operations and safety rules.
• Conduct physical inventory and purge processes as needed.
• Operate production equipment with preventative maintenance and keep area clean (5S).
