Round One Entertainment Inc. is hiring part-time Customer Service Associates for our Bowling and Events department in Salinas, CA. Wage ranges from $18 to $19.75 per hour. Typical hours are 10 AM–2 AM, with peak periods 5 PM–2 AM and weekends.

The role involves operating the POS, handling payments, promoting events, and assisting with parties. Benefits include weekly arcade games, bowling, karaoke, dining discounts, and beverages during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes, lend out facility and/or equipment.
• Promotes and conducts marketing events under Bowling Management.
• Resets and cleans the facility after usage (lanes, karaoke rooms, billiard tables, ping pong and dark areas).
• Checks conditions of equipment and conducts basic maintenance and repair.
• Conducts opening and closing procedures, handles cash tills and memberships.
• Provides customers with bowling tips and technique and answers general inquiries.
• Conducts sales and inventory procedures per company guidelines.
• Resets, cleans and maintains shoes in the auto shoeser and conducts laundry of rags.
• Assists with party reservations and hosting events.

Round One Entertainment is looking to hire Customer Service Associates for our Bowling and Events department.

Position Details

• Part time (20-25 hours a week).
• Wage: $18-19.75.
• Hours of Operation: 10AM - 2AM.
• Shift: This is a high paced work environment with our peak hours from 5 pm - 2 am and weekends. The majority of scheduled hours will be nights (closing shift) and/or weekends.

Essential Duties

• Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes, lend out facility and/or equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Under the direction of Bowling Management, promotes and conducts marketing events.
• Resets and cleans the facility once customers are done using them. (Lanes, Karaoke rooms, billiard tables, ping pong and dart areas).
• Checks conditions of all equipment and conducts generic maintenance and repair.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures.
• Opening and closing cash tills and organizing membership/game cards and coupons.
• Provides customers with bowling tips and techniques.
• Answering phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Conduct sales.
• Conducts inventory procedure in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning.
• Resets, cleans and maintains shoes in the auto shoeser and also conducts laundry of rags.
• Responds politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Assists with party reservations and hosting parties/events.

Non-essential Duties

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains the confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• High School diploma and preferred one to two years experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
