Job summary

Round One Entertainment is seeking Customer Service Associates for our Bowling and Events department in Concord, CA. This part-time role (20-25 hours/week) offers a wage of $19–$20.75 per hour, with peak hours 5 pm–2 am on nights and weekends.

Expect a fast-paced environment, strong customer interaction, and opportunities to participate in events. Responsibilities include operating POS systems, guiding customers, handling reservations, promoting events, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• High School diploma and preferred one to two years experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes, lend out facility and/or equipment.
• Promotes and conducts marketing events under Bowling Management.
• Resets and cleans the facility after use (lanes, karaoke rooms, billiard tables, ping pong and darts).
• Checks conditions of all equipment and conducts maintenance and repairs.
• Performs opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Assists with party reservations and hosting parties/events.

Round One Entertainment is looking to hire Customer Service Associates for our Bowling and Events department.

Position Details:

• Part Time (20-25 hours a week).
• Wage: $19-20.75.
• Hours of Operation: 10AM - 2AM.
• Shift: This is a high paced work environment with our peak hours from 5 pm - 2 am and weekends. The majority of scheduled hours will be nights or weekends.

• 1 hour of time play (non-prize) arcade games per week.

Essential Duties:

• Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes, lend out facility and/or equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Under the direction of Bowling Management, promotes and conducts marketing events.
• Resets and cleans the facility once customers are done using them. (Lanes, Karaoke rooms, billiard tables, ping pong and dart areas).
• Checks conditions of all equipment and conducts generic maintenance and repair.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures.
• Opening and closing cash tills, and organizing membership/game cards and coupons.
• Provides customers with bowling tips and techniques.
• Answering phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Conduct sales.
• Conducts inventory procedure in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning.
• Resets, cleans and maintains shoes in the auto shoeser and also conducts laundry of rags.
• Responds politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Assists with party reservations and hosting parties/events.

Non-essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains the confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
