Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc. in Moreno Valley, CA is looking for a friendly, outgoing team member for a part-time role. The position offers weekend shifts or closing shifts with a wage of $18–$19.75 per hour.

Hours are 10am–2am daily, with 20–25 hours weekly, and the store closes at 2am on weekends. Benefits include weekly arcade time, bowling and karaoke, plus discounts on food and a complimentary beverage per shift.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred one to two years' experience in a hospitality or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes, lend out facility and/or equipment (karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Under the direction of Bowling Management, upsells, promotes and conducts marketing events.
• Resets and cleans the facility once customers are done using them. (Lanes, Karaoke rooms, billiard tables, ping pong and dart areas).
• Conducts and manages lane maintenance and repairs on bowling lanes, pinsetters, and other bowling related equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
• Checks conditions of all equipment and conducts generic maintenance and repair.
• Opening and closing cash tills, and organizing membership/game cards and coupons.
• Provides customers with bowling tips and techniques.
• Answering phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Conducts inventory procedure in accordance with company guidelines.
• Resets, cleans and maintains shoes in the auto shoeser and laundry of rags.
• Responds politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Assists with party reservations and hosting parties/events.

• Conducts lost and found procedures in accordance with company policies.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
