Job summary

NAVSTA Mayport's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department seeks a Recreation Aid to support the Bowling Center Front Desk and Snack Bar. You will provide customer service, handle transactions, assist patrons, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Eligible candidates should be at least 18 years old, have at least six months in a related field, and may have prior cash handling or food handling experience.

Job description

This position is assigned to the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department; Fleet Readiness (N92); Commander, Navy Region Southeast, located at Naval Station Mayport. Incumbent serves as a Recreation Aid, providing customer service and support for the Bowling Center Front Desk and Snack Bar.

Prior cash handling experience is preferred but not required. Some food handling experience is preferred but not required. Must be neat in appearance and possess the ability to handle and communicate with the public. Must be 18 years of age. Minimum of six months of experience in the required field is required to be found eligible.
