Job summary

US-Air-Combat-Command is seeking a food service worker for the Phantom Lanes Bowling Center in Goldsboro, NC. This Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position involves preparing simple meals, cooking items with minimal processing, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and move for long periods, and obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Preference may apply for veterans and related categories.

Qualifications

• Experience in methods of food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Knowledge of operating and cleaning food-service equipment and knowledge of food characteristics.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods.
• Able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate.
• Able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of simple cooking tasks by preparing and cooking items such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers and vegetables.
• Washes and cleans kitchen equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
