Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an attentive team member to provide efficient, courteous service to bowling guests in our center in Las Vegas. You will maximize lane utilization and equipment by managing guest flow and maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

The role involves operating the control desk, assigning lanes, handling calls, promoting leagues and events, and covering Score Assistant duties as needed. You should be able to handle basic cash handling and computer tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Education preferred; must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of bowling and cash handling.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bowling center control desk, assign lanes and manage leagues and tournaments.
• Communicate clearly by telephone, call box and PA system.
• Monitor area for disruptive behavior and misuse of lanes or equipment.
• Promote leagues and center events to guests.
• Fulfill duties of the Score Assistant when needed.

Job Description

Provide bowling guests with efficient, courteous service. Maximize the utilization of lanes and equipment through efficient control of customer flow.

Job Functions

• Operation of control desk by issuing lanes to open play guest, turn lanes on/off for leagues and tournaments.
• Communicate clearly on the telephone , call box and PA Systems
• Monitor area for disruptive behavior or misuse of lanes or equipment.
• Promote leagues and center events to guests.
• Fulfill all duties of the Score Assistant when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Education Preferred. Must be at least18 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of bowling and cash handling.
• Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
