Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in the United States is seeking a friendly, observant team member to operate the control desk, manage lane assignments for open play, and support leagues and tournaments. You will communicate via telephone, PA, and intercom to ensure smooth lane flow and guest satisfaction.

The role requires standing and walking for long periods, basic bowling knowledge, and basic computer and cash-handling skills.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and able to meet licensing requirements.
• Ability to stand and walk for full shift.
• Basic bowling knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer use and cash handling.
• Must obtain necessary licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate control desk by issuing lanes to open play guests.
• Turn lanes on/off for leagues and tournaments.
• Communicate clearly by phone, call box, and PA systems.
• Monitor area for disruption or misuse of lanes or equipment.
• Promote leagues and center events to guests.
• Fulfill duties of Score Assistant when needed.

• Monitor area for disruptive behavior or misuse of lanes or equipment.
• Promote leagues and center events to guests.
• Fulfill all duties of the Score Assistant when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Basic knowledge of bowling and cash handling preferred.
• Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
