Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command is seeking a Community Recreation Assistant for the Bowling Alley at NAS Oceana and Dam Neck. The role supports MWR programs, provides information to customers, processes registrations and assists with snack bar items.

Responsibilities include handling fees with POS systems, maintaining inventory, opening and closing facilities, and coordinating events and trips while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Assists customers with information on Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Handles fee collection for tickets, retail, rentals, classes and trips using POS systems.
• Maintains inventory and prepares snack bar items or prepackaged retail items.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information for Community Recreation programs.
• Process registrations and assist with event sign-ups and attendance.
• Open/close facilities and restock supplies as needed.
• Record daily sales and generate DAR reports after each shift.
