Job summary

Main Event Entertainment, Inc. in New York State is hiring a Bowl Attendant to greet Guests, guide activities, and ensure a fun, safe bowling experience.

You will learn multiple systems, manage lane setup, handle shoe operations, and assist guests with ball selection while promoting activities and providing prompt service. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, solving lane issues, processing payments, and supporting a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcoming and engaging with all Guests, all while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escort guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane set up and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and/or lanes; completing side duties

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendant’s set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you’re high energy, helpful, and knowledgeable so you can guide our Guest’s through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You’re an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and in using the various systems to successfully perform your job! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

Salary

• Compensation is from $8.8 - $11.25 per hour

Salary Range: 11-14.8
