Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Memphis is seeking a Bowling Attendant to welcome guests, assist with lanes and equipment, and promote activities to ensure a fun, safe experience.

You will help maintain cleanliness, manage shoe inventory, and process payments while upholding safety standards and delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/bev or retail is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and service attitude toward Guests.
• Strong teamwork and communication with management and Guests.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Promote activities based on guest needs and availability.
• Troubleshoot lane malfunctions.
• Issue and clean bowling shoes; maintain shoe organization.
• Escort guests to lanes and assist with lane setup and ball selection.
• Ensure guests follow bowling safety standards.
• Process payments and welcome guests back.
• Keep the Bowl Desk and lanes clean and organized; complete side duties.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest’s needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane setup and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, and/or weekends
