Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a friendly Bowl Attendant to welcome guests, explain activities, and ensure a fun, safe bowling experience. You will assist with lane setup, shoe cleaning, and guest guidance while handling payments and maintaining a clean, organized bowl desk and lanes.

Daily duties emphasize guest engagement, safety, and using multiple systems. Availability across days, nights, and weekends is needed to support varied center schedules and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service is a plus.
• Ability to learn and use multiple systems.

• Excellent communication with guests and team.
• Must be available days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome guests and act as a FUN ambassador.
• Promote activities based on guest needs.
• Troubleshoot lane malfunctions.
• Issue and clean bowling shoes.
• Escort guests to lanes and assist with setup.
• Ensure safety standards are followed.
• Process payment transactions and greet guests returning.
• Maintain bowl desk and lanes.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendants set the stage for our Guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials! As a Bowl Attendant, you are helpful, knowledgeable, and have high energy, so you can guide our Guests through the activities we offer to ensure their experience is FUN and memorable. You're an expert in ensuring the bowling experience is exceptional and using the various systems to perform your job successfully! You're also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Promoting and recommending activities based on a Guest's needs and activity availability
• Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
• Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
• Escorting Guests to their lane and assisting them with their lane setup and ball selection
• Ensuring Guests adhere to all bowling safety standards (gotta play safe!)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Maintaining a clean and organized Bowl Desk and lanes; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, and/or weekends
