Job summary

Timbers Kaua‘i at Hokuala is seeking a Landscape Security Officer to guard the resort’s property, ensure safety, and assist guests and staff. The role requires patrols, incident reporting, and adherence to loss prevention procedures in a premium island setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, supporting emergency responders, and ensuring access control while upholding the resort’s service standards and safety policies. Training and safety guidelines are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fire and Life Safety systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA codes and regulations.
• Experience with basic record keeping and incident reporting.
• Understanding of department policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with word processing, data entry and standard report generation.
• Strong business English spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to interact respectfully with diverse individuals and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Guard resort facilities against fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Patrol all areas and document safety concerns and unusual occurrences.
• Report safety hazards and follow up with appropriate actions.
• Prepare incident and loss prevention reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain logs and document access to master keys and security systems.
• Assist emergency responders and provide basic medical aid until professionals arrive.
