Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort on Jekyll Island, part of the Noble House Hotels & Resorts collection, seeks a friendly Retail Shop Attendant. You’ll create welcoming shoppers’ experiences, assist with purchases, and keep the shop beautifully presented for guests and island visitors.

You’ll handle transactions at the POS, stock displays, and collaborate with the Retail Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations, reflecting the resort’s historic charm.

Qualifications

• Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, guest-focused personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable assisting guests with purchases and recommendations.
• Ability to handle cash and POS transactions.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and assist with stocking merchandise.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, personalized service.
• Assist guests with merchandise selections and purchases.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process transactions.
• Restock and organize merchandise.
• Maintain attractive, inviting retail displays.
• Assist with inventory and merchandise control.
• Answer questions about merchandise, the resort, and Jekyll Island.
• Assist the Retail Supervisor with daily shop operations.
• Help create an elevated retail experience that reflects the character of our historic resort.
