Job description

Fleur du Mal is growing and seeking experienced Boutique Managers to join our retail leadership team.

Each Boutique Manager is assigned to and responsible for the success of one dedicated boutique location. This is not a multi-store management role. As the leader of your boutique, you will be responsible for driving business performance, developing your team, cultivating client relationships, and delivering the elevated, intimate client experience that defines the Fleur du Mal brand.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping boutique culture, building strong teams, creating unforgettable client experiences, and contributing to the continued growth of a luxury retail brand. While we are hiring for multiple Boutique Manager positions across the company, each role is focused on leading and growing a single Fleur du Mal boutique.

Founded in 2012, Fleur du Mal is a luxury lingerie and ready-to-wear brand that celebrates women who exude power while embracing their femininity and sensuality. The brand is distributed globally through fleurdumal.com, Fleur du Mal boutiques, and leading luxury retailers worldwide.

The Role

As Boutique Manager, you will have full ownership of one Fleur du Mal boutique location, serving as the primary leader for your store's team, client experience, sales performance, operations, and community presence. You will inspire and develop your team, uphold the elevated service standards that define the Fleur du Mal brand, and drive business growth through exceptional leadership and client engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a passionate and confident retail leader who thrives in a luxury boutique environment. You bring energy to the sales floor, inspire those around you, and are passionate about creating memorable client experiences. You have a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, cultivating lasting client relationships, and driving results in a multi-million-dollar retail business. You are entrepreneurial, hands-on, and excited by the opportunity to lead your own boutique while contributing to the broader growth of the Fleur du Mal retail business.

Qualifications
  • Must have luxury/designer retail and/or intimate apparel experience.
  • 5+ years of retail and/or luxury brand experience.
  • 2+ years of Store Manager experience.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and retain top talent.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients, team members, and corporate partners.
  • Extensive experience managing a multi-million-dollar business through strong client relationships, operational excellence, and team leadership.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, lingerie, and delivering a highly personalized customer experience.
  • Full-time availability with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying business needs.
Client Relations & Team Leadership
  • Recruit successful sales associates who embody the Fleur du Mal brand and culture.
  • Provide professional training, coaching, and ongoing development to cultivate a high-performing boutique team.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and service-oriented environment for both clients and employees.
  • Delegate, manage, and exceed performance goals, including individual sales metrics, units per transaction, clienteling goals, and monthly store sales targets.
  • Maintain expertise in brand and product knowledge, luxury selling techniques, and client relationship management.
  • Cultivate meaningful and lasting client relationships that drive retention, loyalty, and business growth.
  • Serve as a Fleur du Mal brand ambassador within the local community.
  • Identify and develop creative local marketing initiatives, events, and partnership opportunities that drive awareness, engagement, and boutique traffic.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to support store-specific opportunities and business growth initiatives.
Store Operations
  • Oversee daily boutique operations and maintain all POS functions and documentation standards to ensure accurate reporting and accounting.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business performance and adjust strategies and goals as needed.
  • Manage seasonal product orders and weekly replenishment based on store trends, inventory levels, and product sell-through.
  • Implement and maintain loss prevention procedures and inventory controls.
  • Closely monitor stockroom organization, inventory levels, transfers, damages, employee wardrobe, press pulls, and gifting requests.
  • Manage payroll, commissions, and store expenses in accordance with established budgets.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Visual Merchandising & Store Environment
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and weekly window displays in alignment with brand directives, seasonal trends, and product performance.
  • Maintain the luxury presentation of the boutique at all times.
  • Ensure all display fixtures, lighting, fitting rooms, selling spaces, and stockrooms are impeccably maintained and organized.
  • Create an elevated shopping environment that reflects the Fleur du Mal brand experience.
