Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking AM and PM Line Cooks to join our vibrant boutique kitchen. Reed building. Candidates should have restaurant cooking experience, knife skills, food handling knowledge, and the ability to multitask evenings,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a full-service restaurant or culinary operation as a line cook or related role.
• Time management and organizational ability for high quality production.
• Ability to work with minimal direction to complete tasks.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage.
• Able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Positive rapport with teammates and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Know and comply with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules and policies.
• Prevent spoilage and contamination by maintaining proper sanitation and health compliance.
• Maintain a clean workstation including all equipment and surfaces.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, line, prep kitchen, dish area and walk-in spaces.
