Job summary

Fairlane Hotel in Nashville, TN is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general finish work. This is an active, in-the-field role that covers guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

The position requires completing guest and staff work orders, preventive maintenance, and responding to issues with minimal disruption to the guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on maintenance in a hotel, commercial building, or related setting.
• Working knowledge of one core trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry) with willingness to cross-train.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and clearly communicate status.
• Comfort with basic workorder software (Optii is a plus).
• Reliable, safety-conscious, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general finish work.
• Respond to guest and staff work orders promptly with minimal disruption to guest experience.
• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets, three commercial kitchens, rooftop, and back-of-house spaces to standards.
