Job summary

The Pantry by Farmer’s Table, located inside the Boca Wyndham hotel in Boca Raton, is seeking a friendly Barista to deliver a boutique café experience to hotel guests and local patrons. Shifts run from 6 am to 1 pm daily, with weekend availability required.

You will craft espresso-based beverages and light fare, work with high-quality ingredients, and ensure a polished, guest-focused environment, while handling transactions and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or café experience preferred (hotel experience a plus).
• Knowledge of espresso preparation and milk texturing techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with a hospitality-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet hotel guests and outside customers in a warm, engaging, and professional manner.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee, teas, fresh juices, pastries, and grab-and-go items.
• Deliver prompt, attentive service consistent with boutique hotel hospitality standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and personalize interactions whenever possible.
• Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and POS system accurately.
• Plate and serve pastries, light breakfast items, and pre-packaged offerings.
• Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing café environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Monitor product levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisor.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Represent The Pantry and Farmer’s Table Boca brand values at all times.
• Collaborate with hotel front desk and restaurant team to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Support special events, group bookings, and seasonal promotions.
• Participate in training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
