Job summary

The Barista at maman is responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages to maman standards while delivering exceptional, guest-focused service in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of barista experience, mastery of espresso, micro-foam milk texturing, latte art, and accurate POS handling to ensure consistency and speed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of barista experience.
• Ability to pass a barista skills evaluation.
• Working knowledge of espresso preparation, micro-foam milk texturing, and basic latte art.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve the full beverage menu per maman's recipes and standards.
• Ensure beverage quality, consistency, and presentation across drinks.
• Maintain service times: drinks served within 8 minutes on weekdays and 10 minutes on weekends.
• Demonstrate espresso skills, milk texturing, and latte art.
• Deliver warm, personalized guest service and hospitality.
